Use this page to identify the office that controls the record you need. Pitt County Recent Arrests is a private reference site and does not receive county files. Questions about custody, release, bond, booking records, court dates, or photographs must go to the government office responsible for that information.

This is not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, post bond, release anyone, or pull an official booking record. Contact the appropriate agency directly.

Choose the Correct Record Source

  • For a booking record or photograph, follow the request steps on the home page.
  • For current Pitt County custody, use the official Detainee Search or call detention inmate information.
  • For new bookings, use 24 Hour Arrests; for the multi-day publication, use the Arrest Log.
  • For release or transfer alerts, use VINELink Check.
  • For an originating city report, use Greenville, Winterville, or Ayden Police.
  • For state prison, probation, or parole, use the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction offender search.
  • For federal prison use the Bureau of Prisons locator; for immigration custody use the ICE locator or DHS-VINE.

Communications non-emergency is 252-830-4141. Call 911 for an emergency. The detention center reports custody information but does not set bond, change court dates, render verdicts, or determine punishment.
